The Huawei LUNA2000-10KW-C1 is the power module component of the Huawei LUNA2000 Smart String Energy Storage System. It is the brain of the LUNA2000 system — housing the inverter electronics, BMS communication and power conversion components — while the LUNA2000-7-E1 battery modules provide the actual energy storage.
The LUNA2000-10KW-C1 is required for each LUNA2000 battery group and must be purchased alongside LUNA2000-7-E1 battery modules to form a complete energy storage system. It supports up to 3 battery modules per group (20.7kWh) and is compatible with the full SUN2000 inverter range.

Think of it as the inverter within the battery system: it handles DC-AC power conversion, BMS communication, battery management and system monitoring. Without the LUNA2000-10KW-C1, the LUNA2000-7-E1 battery modules cannot function. A complete entry-level Huawei battery system requires: one LUNA2000-10KW-C1 (Rs 185,000) plus one or more LUNA2000-7-E1 battery modules (Rs 610,000 each). Total minimum cost for a 6.9kWh Huawei battery system: Rs 795,000.
- One LUNA2000-10KW-C1 power module supports 1 to 3 LUNA2000-7-E1 battery modules, providing 6.9kWh (1 module), 13.8kWh (2 modules) or 20.7kWh (3 modules) of total storage per group. The corresponding system names are LUNA2000-7-S1, LUNA2000-14-S1 and LUNA2000-21-S1. For a single Huawei SUN2000 inverter, up to 4 complete groups (4 x LUNA2000-10KW-C1 + 12 x LUNA2000-7-E1) can be connected, providing a maximum of 82.8kWh of total storage and 42kW of combined charging/discharging power.
- A complete Huawei LUNA2000 battery system requires the power module plus battery modules. Entry level (6.9kWh): LUNA2000-10KW-C1 at Rs 185,000 + 1 x LUNA2000-7-E1 at Rs 610,000 = Rs 795,000 total. Mid range (13.8kWh): Rs 185,000 + 2 x Rs 610,000 = Rs 1,405,000 total. Full group (20.7kWh): Rs 185,000 + 3 x Rs 610,000 = Rs 2,015,000 total. Compared to a Pylontech Fidus 16kWh at Rs 625,000 or Sunwoda Atrix Max 16kWh at Rs 600,000, the Huawei system is significantly more expensive — but delivers Huawei integrated AI ecosystem and 5-layer safety protection not available on competing batteries.
- The LUNA2000-10KW-C1 is compatible with a wide range of Huawei SUN2000 inverters including SUN2000-12/15/17/20/25K-MB0, SUN2000-3/4/5/6/8/10KTL-M1, SUN2000-5/6/8/10/12K-MAP0, SUN2000-8/10K-LC0, SUN5000-8/12K-MAP0 and SUN5000-17/25K-MB0. It is not compatible with non-Huawei inverters. In Pakistan, the most commonly paired inverter is the SUN2000-12K-MAP0 available at MartOnline for Rs 415,000.
- Yes, you can add LUNA2000-7-E1 battery modules to an existing LUNA2000-10KW-C1 at any time, up to a maximum of 3 modules per power module. The cable-free connection design makes adding modules straightforward without rewiring the existing system. The Module+ architecture with built-in energy optimizer in each battery module allows mixing modules installed at different times without performance loss. This means you can start with 1 module (6.9kWh) and expand to 2 or 3 modules as your budget allows, paying for the battery capacity incrementally rather than upfront.
